What is a unique christening gift for a baby girl?

Can’t afford lots, but want it to be special as it’s for my best friend’s baby – and also needs to be delivered this week if to be bought online! I’ve been racking my brains and possibles so far are an engraved money box, a St Christopher or a bottle of 2009 wine/bubbly/port, but not sure how common these are and if lots of people will do the same? Would like it to be a nice surprise for my friend too so don’t want to ask her, any ideas very welcome, thanks! x
Thank you all for you replies! I’ve just found the book by Dr Seuss “Oh the places you’ll go!” It looks like a wonderful book for a christening or naming ceremony, what are your thoughts?

I think the engraved money box sounds cool. but I have given an engraved jewelry box. they were so exited. good luck.

For my daughter’s baptism, my friend gave a a unique Baptism/1st Communion/Confirmation keepsake box with a picture frame and noah’s ark stuffed toy set in the box. It was really neat and will be a great way to store all of her special keepsakes for the year’s to come.

I don’t know how unique it is, but I got a gold bangle baby bracelet for my cousin’s baby. It was darling and I got it at Walmart for 20 dollars.
