A tiny metal box for baby teeth. Take it to be engraved with child’s name.

I’ve found that hooded towels with some sort of applique and an embroidered name is a very practical, personal, and appreciated gift.

Here’s an idea: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22451705
It can be personalized.

I bought a personalized baby blanket for my newborn nephew few months ago. The blanket is covered with some of his first photos and I also put a special quote on it. Guess what? It is now one of his favorite blankets. This is where I ordered the blanket: http://www.visionbedding.com/Personalized-Baby-Blankets.php. The price may go twice of your budget, but believe me, it will be one of the best warmhearted gifts she will ever received.
